OUR STORY

We are dog lovers.  With over 38 years of experience which include running a rescue. 
 

Kennels are a way of the past. People assumed that dogs could not be together outside of cages. So being the only source, pets were housed in kennels while owners were on vacation or working.  Can you imagine being sent from a home to a kennel and a cage? Of course, these kennels are always available, and some people are very happy with them. We just happen not to believe in them.
 

Myself and my business partner have always had pets.  At one time I had owned a hobby farm and had 10 of my own.  There was never an issue with socializing, fighting.  They had acres to run and play and exhaust themselves.  And swimming in the pond to cool off thereafter, it was their heaven.  The happiest dog is one that is tired from play.

Now, years later, we have decided to make the move to the Stoney Creek/Grimsby area to a lovely spot for pets to play safely with constant supervision!  Parents are certainly allowed to visit us anytime.  Your fur friend will have days to run,  go on hikes (on leash), chase bubbles and frisbees and celebrate birthdays and of course, Santa Paws!  We will have videos of your babies daily on our instagram via #tailsfortrails.dogdaycare
 

We are so excited to have moved Tails for Trails to Stoney Creek/Grimsby and look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!!!
